So here are my two favorite drawings from the previous semester. They're both pastel pieces from life drawing. I'm currently trying to think of ways to translate the sense of light i gained from these into my ink work.
These drawings are both fantastic. I think these might be two of my favorite pieces by you. The soft, warm colors, the compositions, the handling of the medium. Your lines in your illustrations are usually harsh, and you tend to skimp on proportion. but here, both are working wonderfully and convey strong emotion just in the lighting and gesture. you might consider working on this scale, and in this medium, for an illustration piece.
